Woo Hoo!!! I am so excited to hear a dear friend of mine has a daughter who will be having a baby this summer, and I will be making a diaper cake for her shower. We are just waiting to see if she can find out the sex of the baby in a few weeks. They couldn't tell from the first ultrasound, so we will keep our fingers crossed for the next one.
I am so happy to be able to create another diaper cake. I LOVE making these!! It is a nice change from my quilting and embroidery and I love to see what I can come up with.
Here is a picture of the last one I made for a friend who ordered one for a baby shower she was going to.
This next one is one that was a special order from someone in my town. I put a pair of puppy baby booties on the top.
You won't see the diaper cakes listed in my Etsy shop, but I do still take orders for them and I will ship them for you as well. If you would like more information on my cakes you can contact me by going to my Etsy shop and sending me a convo or you can email me at kidnaroundcreations@myfairpoint.net Be sure to check out this link where I have other cakes that I made in the past. http://kidnaroundcreations.blogspot.com/2009/02/my-other-passion.html I will leave you with a photo of the very first cake I made.

Those are adorable! I have two kids and believe it or not, I'd never seen one of those before about 6 months ago when a friend of my blogged about it. How I wish someone had made one of those for me when I was pregnant!
ReplyDeleteI love diaper cakes, and yours look amazing she is going to LOVE them :)
ReplyDeleteHow lovely and oh so practical...plus, unlike a real cake you don't have to watch the calories. What a wonderful centerpiece these make and I bet the lucky recipient will have many fond memories of that special Baby Shower gift. :)
ReplyDeleteThese diaper cakes are fantastic! Great detail!
ReplyDeleteYour diaper cakes are lovely. When I don't know the sex of the baby, I like to give neutral diaper cakes.
