Diaper Cake Time!!!!

Woo Hoo!!! I am so excited to hear a dear friend of mine has a daughter who will be having a baby this summer, and I will be making a diaper cake for her shower. We are just waiting to see if she can find out the sex of the baby in a few weeks. They couldn't tell from the first ultrasound, so we will keep our fingers crossed for the next one.

I am so happy to be able to create another diaper cake. I LOVE making these!! It is a nice change from my quilting and embroidery and I love to see what I can come up with.

Here is a picture of the last one I made for a friend who ordered one for a baby shower she was going to.




This next one is one that was a special order from someone in my town. I put a pair of puppy baby booties on the top.

Giveaway Time!

I don't know about you guys, but I have had enough of this winter stuff and I am so ready for spring. I have been thinking of holding a giveaway on my blog for the last week and after much thought.....I would like to offer my Easter Play food set.



Now the kids can play Easter bunny year round with this cute pretend play food set. All this items are made from felt and stuffed with polyfil to make them nice and plush. You will get a large bunny, small bunny, carrot, 3 Easter eggs and 4 jelly beans.


This set would make a great basket stuffer for the child who is to young for candy or one who is diabetic. They are nice and soft for little ones hands and all the details are stitched on. No worries about small parts coming off. The jelly beans are a little on the small side so I wouldn't give them to a child under the age of 3, but all the other items would be perfect for a small child.

A LITTLE DOUGH for a CURE

Well, I must say it has been a very long time since my last post, and I know that it's way overdue. I have been so busy the last few months and I just didn't have any spare time to dedicate to my blog. Now that things have started to slow down a bit, I will begin making weekly post and holding giveaways from time to time. Before I get going on a rant about me, myself and I...I wanted to share with you a little shop I found on Etsy today.

The owner of this great little shop is Mindy. Mindy is raising money for the American Cancer Society and to get a jump start on her fundraising efforts she is selling her homemade Play Dough. All the profits from the sale will be donated to the American Cancer society in the Relay for Life this coming summer.




The play dough comes in Blue, Pink, Purple and Green and you will get 8 mini containers for only $9.95. What a creative way to raise money for a great cause. Promo Packs Are a Hit!!

Hello everyone! I finally have found some time to update my blog with the promo packs update. My 1st show was on July 11Th in Concord, NH at the Concord Arts Market. http://concordartsmarket.com

The show was real slow, but the promo packs were a huge hit with the crowds. I handed them out to everyone with kids and grand kids, because the packs had cards from Etsy shops who sell children's products. Everyone seemed to like them and I even had a few people take a couple packs to give to their friends.




Here are a few photos from my new booth this year. I still have a few things to change, but for the most part I was very happy with the way it came out. Certainly is a eye catcher with all the color going on..

I would like to Thank each and every one of you who sent me your business cards and samples. I received a ton of cards and I was able to make up almost 150 promo packs. I have more shows coming up in Aug and Sept this year, and I also sell my items in my friends Hair Salon, so I will be placing some promo packs there as well. I know it has been a long time since my last blog and I am so sorry I have been MIA for such a long time. My family has been going through some rough times in the last 2 months and things are just now starting to get back to normal. My husband had been laid off for the 3rd time this year and my Dear Nana passed away. Thankfully my Husband has found a new job and we are starting to get back on track.

Sooooo to make up for my absence I would like to offer a new giveaway from my shop. I have a few new items that I just listed this week and I would like to offer one of my new sets of play food.
